Gavin Simpson

How did you get into coaching?

My Dad was a coach and so it was through him that I started to coach.

 How would you describe your own coaching philosophy?

 Focus on technique and then put this into practice with lots of competitive play.

 Who is your sporting idol and why?

 Mark Cavendish the cyclist, he speaks his mind, tells the truth and comes back time and time again after injuries and setbacks!

Off serve, an attacking backhand return right into the corner of the court.
